Course Curriculum Overview

I am a Student from IIIT Bhagalpur pursuing by Btech in mechatronics and automation engineering. I chose this course as it is a unique course which most of the colleges don't have. In IIIT Bhagalpur the intake was 300 students of which 150 are in CSE, 74 in ECE, 47 in MAE, rest in MNC.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement in our college is awesome the highest package that was offered was 46 lpa to 7 students and the lowest was 7 lpa. The average was 16 lpa and the median is above 10 lpa. This data is from 2022.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee in IIIT Bhagalpur is approx 1,20,000/sem. Hostel fees - 44000/yr. Mess-16000 for 4 months. You can also opt for a scholarship that is sanctioned by a state government or other private companies.

Campus Life

In IIIT Bhagalpur we have an amazing annual fest called ENYUGMA, It is conducted in November. As our campus is currently in the construction phase we have to go to a temporary campus rented from BCE. But By December our classes will be shifted to our new academic building.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite spacious. we currently live with 3 people in the room with all the facilities provided. The mess food is good in terms of quality. We get food 4 times a day. And from our hostel, the campus is only 300m away.

Hostel Fee: INR 44000 per year

Admission

You can get admission to IIIT Bhagalpur by taking an entrance exam Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). If you crack jee a secure a decent rank you can easily get admission through counseling like jossa or csab.

Overall nice infrastructure and facilities.poor placements,but faculties are knowledgeable and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is but outdated. It doesn't prepare much for real world applications but can help in preparing for higher studies or competitive exams. 75% attendance is mandatory .Even one day before exams , we need to attend classes. That has a scope of improvement for the college to focus on skills rather than theory knowledge only.

I am really interested in my course . The fees is affordable. The placement opportunity is good as well as here is the environment for government exam / engineering service exams . Different well qualified faculties are present in each branch . Every subject has faculty member. Each and every faculty is well educated . The minimum qualification to become the faculty of this college is Mtech . The faculty has passed GATE exam /BPSC exam . The term exams are timely , midsems are taken 1 month before the end sem exams . The level of the semester exams is sometimes moderate or tough . Students should have the depth knowledge of the subject .

It is all on IIIt Bhagalpur's official site . You can easily find the eligibilty course, application form ,fees and dates . As i am from general category i havent too much idea but there is reservation benefits only on seat not on fees. i have given the 3rd topic answer in the previous slide. they take too much time for the admission process this can be reduced overall everything is good....Read More
