Course Curriculum Overview
We get exposed to various subjects in first year which includes mechanics, bee, spa, ed, maths, science etc.. Also workshops are there where we learn cutting and welding metal sheets we learn carpentary and also electrical jobs.. Various practical sessions are also conducted for better experience
Internships Opportunities
Yes our collage do provide internship in varius companies... As i m a first year student i do not have much knowledge about this but in coms and it oyr collage internship ratio is very good
Placement Experience
Placements are good here for it and coms but it is little difficult for a mech student to get job. Most companies prefer it and coms student for job.. Altoungh now companies are coming for mech and civil students too. Our collage has got A grade through naac so in upcoming years placements are suerly goona increase for mech and civil students
College Events
Various events are conducted here including sports day, annual day, science fest, magalio etc.. Sports week is a good time for relaxation of mind and to show some physical skills. In annual function various cultural and morden dance are held, in annual function annual report is given by aur principal. Also this year a national event was conducted in SJCEM named magalio. Varoius games were held in this event with good winning prizes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure here is reasonable. An avg man can afford this collage for his/her ward. Annual fee for this collage is around 85000-90000 rs. It includes stationary charges, bus facility, security charges, locker facility etc.. Also scholarships are provided to the needy ones. Fee structure is different for different caste students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided in two ways. 1st consist of yur marks in cet and 2nd consist yur caste. Aslo the needy ones are provided with the scholarship.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is good here. Almost 40% students are female which is very good. We get a good exposure to practical sessions here in workshop or any subject practicals. Also debate are conducted in cs lecture which helps individual to built his confidence and self esteem. Student here work together in groups in workshop which helps in getting involved with differnt people
Hostel Facilities
Canteen here is very good. Price is very reasonable here. We laso have a resturant inside the campus which provides good and various types of food. Hostel has a big dormantary for students. Hostel provides 2 meal and a snack per day. Also hostel is inside the collage campus which is good for students residing there
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful in projects and different tasks. One gets a proper guidence for any perticular subject for a senior, also there are many societies in aur collage which are runned by seniors, this society helps us in any perticular field and keeps us updated on latest technologies etc..
Exam Structure
3 unit test are conducted every semester... Out of which best of two marks are counted. Various class test are also conducted for every subject which helps us in revising chapters frequently.. We also gets different projects to prove our skills. There are also marks for attendence, submissions, and viva
Admission
After mh cet result was declared an online cap round was conducted for students to get admission in engg collages in maharashtra. In these round one has to give various collage prefences... Then ane gets admission according to the collage minimum marks requirement... I was selected in the 2nd cap round process
Faculty
SJCEM has well qualified teachers... All faculty has a minimum degree of m.com, some of are even phd holders.. Even every assistand has a degree of be, faculty here has a unique way of teaching, explaining of concepts are very good here, various practical sessions are also held to get better exposure to a perticular subject
