Course Curriculum Overview

I was in JOSAA counselling and this choice was best for me according to my marks gained in JEE ADVANCED. In our college the ratio of faculty to student is 140:2018. All the professor are highly qualified in their field. And they have good teaching experience. And also some of them are in the top 2% of scientist of the world. Exams are moderate and it happens in the interval of 43months

Class Size: 111Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are good opportunities for internship in my college as 20 percent of students get internship in 3rd year.there are many projects in IIT patna like gdsc robotics and robocon and motorsports and iit patna was 3rd position in previous year in robotics.

Placement Experience

In seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement in month of july.there are many companies which recruit students.like Google, Adobe, Facebook ,Bharat petroleum and etc.and recently one senior from metallurgy branch has got 1.5 crore package.almost 95percent student get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are full fees waiver for sc and st and for OBC and general students whose family income is below one lakhs .we have not any fees related issue. There are many scholarships in IIT patna like merit cum scholarship.

Campus Life

The annual fests in my college are Celesta(October), Anwesha(January) and Infinito(October). There are many books in Library but some are not available in the library like Maths, etc. Facilities in classroom is of top notch!

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel's room is good. But the facility for washing machine is not that good. And also there is wifi facility in the hostel. Mess quality is neither good nor bad. Registration process is done in starting of admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

One should have min 75% in 12th class. One has to give jee mains and advanced exam. Then after clearing it he/she has to fill in JOSAA counselling form for the procedure of the admission in IIT. There is reservation policy for admission in IIT. I don't want any improvement in admission process.

Best at Low rank and low Fee

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
