Course Curriculum Overview

I chose civil engineering because I love this course. The faculties of this department are one of the best faculties of this University. All the facilities are doctorates in their particular subjects. Exams are taken here very strictly every 50 days there are two sessional exams.

Internships Opportunities

The internship program is held here after the completion of every year. There are a lot of companies that come here for the internship program companies like Ashoka Leyland, L&T and many more comes for their internship programme.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a management University it comes under the Uttarakhand government. Its fees are decent but not too high average fee of a course is between 40k to 60k. Scholarships offered here are good. There are a variety of scholarships to which students can avail.

Campus Life

Campus Life in GBPUAT is awesome it's a very open and big University with a lot of infrastructure and greenery. The annual fest is COLLOSEUM. It is held every year in the month of May in which very popular singers come and enjoy. Tech fest is LITROSPHERE which is very knowledgeable and good. Sports and extracurricular activities are very good here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are not good at all for the 1st year boys hostel of btech named ( TAGORE BHAWAN). Here they provide an almirah, table, chair, and a bed of size 3×6 ft room size is decent. 3 people live in every room. Meal are worst in the 1st year boys hostel. There are rental and pg available near the city which is approx. 4 to 5 km away from college.

Hostel Fee: INR 48000 per year

Admission

The admission procedure is very easy and good. This University takes students of btech based on JEE mains score. The basic eligibility criteria are just you have to pass intermediate and cleared jee mains with a decent rank.

Its environment friendly behaviour, Education and Gate rank especially helps me to choose this college . They helps in tackling real life applications by teaching us about the real life situation sometime by seminar hall 3-D representation and sometime by robotic club and sports activities . Some professors are the student of my college only their teaching attitude is not so good they should replace. Difficult questions are not there in the exam if you have gone through the lecture then you can easily solve all the questions . 3hrs. is the timing set in the semester exam

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . I applied for agriculture college and was confirmed admission, but I was more inclined towards animal biology than plant . I tried for a medical College too , but my score didn't permit me to score a seat there. The admission process is through a pen and paper mode exam ( objective type ) containing questions from physics , chemistry, biology, general studies, aptitude and reasoning .
