Remarks

The faculties forms the most important part of any institute and our college have that important part in a very deteriorate condition. The teachers not at all behave nicely with the students & give open intimidation of failing in practical or end sem exam even on very very small mistakes. Some of the branches are good in some aspects such except Electrical & Mechanical branches all other branches do not put excessive & unnecessarily assignments & other project load on students. The college can be at a much higher standard if the facult behaves well with the students & help them without threatening them because this creates deep fear in students & they even hesitate to tell their problems to any teacher.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE MAINS to get admission in this college, I had scored 106 marks, this college was not at all my priority but I got it in counselling & then took the admission because of its image among the colleges of M.P.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Since the college is autonomous therefore it has the ability to shape it own curriculum or course structure however it is almost similar to that of RGPV but still there are some change whom you can't term as 'modification' because they are not at all modified infact topics that are a decade older have been added which makes no sense.

Internships Opportunities

Yes , I have to say that my department is trying hard to provide students a good internship opportunity but till date any of the internships have not happened because you can opt for an intership only in sem breaks which are of only 8-15 days but after the completion of the second year you will get a 1 month year break & hence can opt for an internship.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is a kind of okay if you consider the level of study, faculties & lab facilities provided in the college. The maximim package that one can get is of 3.5-4 lakh per annum and on the minimum side it can reach down to even 1.2 Lakh per annum. The campus as everyone knows is majorly provided by TCS.Other recruiters are L&T, WIPRO,Mphysis, Zensoft, Mid India, Trade India but the package offered still remains in the range of 1.2-3.5L per annum.

College Events

1

I think not even one event had been organised by the college from the date I joined college. Only there's an annual fest which some dance &dance performances and ay the end prize distribution ceremony for academic toppers & competition winners.Otherwise inter cricket torunament is the only event organised by the college that also because it is organised as a tribute to Mr. Madhav Rao Schindia. All the remaining small - small events are organised by student- clubs itself as they know college is going to do nothing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive as compared even to private college because the institute is not private it is a granted autonomous institute. Even some private college offer BE in similar branches at half of the fees than that offered by our college. But the grant provided by government is only for 4 branches & hece the remaining four branches have even higher academic fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Mainly the scholarships are provided by MP government to SC/ST and bpl students which is very good because it covers approximately 95% of their fee expenses. Not only this government also provides stationary products to SC/ST students for the whole year. The college provides only one scholarship that to for students who have scored 7.5 CGPA or above with family earnings not greater than 4.5Lakhs per annum and are not getting any kind of scholarship & hence because of such conditions only very few students qualify for it.

Campus Life

1

Campus life is a kind of interesting to a small extent but not on the perspective of studies. Hostlers get the facility of table tennis, badminton jim and some other sports facilities.Gender ratio is surprisingly good & even the mechanical & electrical branches have a good population of girls.Yes, I have to say that the college organises a tons of workshops for different different branches & interests. Some of them have even been conducted IITs & NITs, they are interesting & college manages to perform well in terms of organising workshops. There are some clubs & cultural societies which organised competitions in college & they kind a make of a family and also participatr in other college .Then comes the politics where the college is worse. It is highly influenced by politics as its trustee is Mr. Jyotiraditya Schindhia. So most of the time there are internal clashes in the college which greatly affects the students.Talking about the economic status the college says that they donot have fund for most of the maintenance and other improvement works but 5-6 months ago director sir bought brand new honda city from the college fund which costs ₹15,71,000 and this issue was raised by many staff members & faculties but nothing budged.

Hostel Facilities

3

On a scale of 0-10 I will rate them 4. The hostel rooms are in very very poor condition, some of them even don't have toilet & bathroom doors. This is because the college was established in 1960 & hence the hostels were built at least 50 years ago and I don't think that they have undergone any kind of modification or refurbishment since then. The mess is not that much bad but you can't be happy with it to.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good . The best part of our college is that it had created some of the very great personalities in the past. For example , you will also be surprised that Nobel Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi is our alumni & not only this co- founder of RGPV , DM (MUMBAI) and many other great persinalities are our alumni.Seniors forms a part of interest during the first year they will be your seniors & you have ti undergo some ragging too but after first year they become your friends & you will enjoy their company too. Also most of the seniors are helpful they provide books , last year question papers & most importantly righr guidance in any aspect.

Exam Structure

As I mentioned earlier the college is autonomous & hence has the right to shape its own course structure & conduct exams. The exams are independently conducted means all the procedures from the printing of the question papers to the evaluation of answer sheets take place in the college itself means there is no participation of the technical university i.e RGPV. The difficulty level in exams is moderate & a student which had started his preparation even 5-10 days before exams can easily clear them. But there's a disadvantage since the college is autonomous therefore they keep the sem duration of only 4 months which include 2 mid-semester tests and a final exam in the fifth month. So you will even not know that when the sem has started & when there are only 5 days left for the exams. Also the exams & lab sessions are very very fatiguing . The college is located in Vidisha which have a very bad atmospheric conditions.

Admission

First all of I cleared the JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM (JEE-MAINS) in 2016 & then I participated in the MP COUNSELLING for engineering colleges & got this college in the very first round of counselling. Then you have to take the admission slip to the respective college which you got from the portal of MP COUNSELLING and then they simply register you as their student & you have to pay the 1st installment of fee immediately at the time of registration.

Faculty

2

Only experienced, can't say knowledgeable at all, infact there are some teachers which even have experience of 20 years or above but can a single line in English correctly then what's the advantage of such knowledge. Not only this one department will have at most of 3-5 permanent teachers & all the remaining faculties are temporary which are even worse than the permanent one's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
