Remarks

The College is a Catholic Minority College, administered under the provisions of the Indian Constitution, to promote the welfare of the Minority community. The college has a wonderful culture and has helped in shaping a better me in the past one year.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam as the admission process for the course was based on merit in the board examinations. I opted for the course as I am interested in pursuing mass media and communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at St. Xavier's College. Our course is vast and the college makes sure that whatever the syllabus is, it is updates on a timely basis and is relevant with our upcoming professional life.

Internships Opportunities

Our college is very supportive of students who want to pursue internships. The internships depend. Some pay 5-6k per month while some are unpaid. Internships, in my opinion are very important to understand things practically.

Placement Experience

We certainly don't have anything like a placement cell. And as far as my course I s concerned, I'd suggest people to opt for higher education first.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is very affordable and the course fees is below 6k for girls and boys both. The college is run by the Jesuit, so they ensured that quality education is made available to all.

Faculty

Our faculty members are highly educated. They have an in-depth knowledge of what they are teaching and thus, it becomes easy for students to comprehend better.

Journey at RRU was unforgettable!!

Placement Experience:

At our university placements thing or its preparation start from the beginning of our course. So when we finish the course we find ourselves wanting at somewhere or the other. In government organisations the initial salary offered is around a 4 lakhs package and in corporate it is 6-7 lakhs.

It's the armed wings or forces where we are generally placed as our college is under governance of central government. So we are prepared that way and that is where we got jobs at an opening salary of 30k or so.

I chose college after doing a hell lot of research. I was looking for a college which provides overall development of student including sports, cultural activities and academics.
