Remarks

The college is good with large infrastructure and it has got good faculties. Since it is a government college some places of the college are not good especially the toilets. One more thing is everything in this college is old but we can manage those things.

Entrance Preview

I didn’t write any entrance exam to enter this college. this college has got new journalism course so, I landed in this college. there was no interview process. I am interested in journalism so, I joined this course

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is having good subjects and we are getting good knowledge about the journalism. There is no practical teaching for us. The institution takes good research initiatives. We are having two elective subjects kannada and English

Internships Opportunities

There are no internships in this college. the college is not supportive for these internships. I don’t know about these internships to share about it.

Placement Experience

3

There is no placement. We have to go and search for the jobs outside. But we are sure that we get jobs and I don’t have much idea about this placement.

College Events

3.5

The college conducts good cultural events in the college campus itself. The events will be very big and there will be always good footfall. the organization also supports for the same and they help students to do these events in a great successful way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is affordable and we can pay it easily without taking any loans and the college will take 2500 every year as the college fee which includes every facility given by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the college is not providing any scholarships for the students. I don’t have idea about the scholarships and loans in this college.

Campus Life

3

The college is good in terms of extracurricular activities. I have not participated in any events yet since its my first year but I am hoping for the next year to take part in some of the events. The facilities during the same will be very nice and we enjoy lot more during the events.

Hostel Facilities

4

I think there is no hostel in this college. I have also not enquired about it till now but I don’t stay in any hostels nearby.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni interaction in this college. the college has also not given any opportunities for the alumni to interact with the students.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs do not make us to feel tired at the end of the day. Yes, it will be in a chill culture

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are well qualified and have good knowledge about the course and they are also good in teaching. They are very interactive and give good things about the course. The standard of teaching is good but yet to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
