Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Computer-based courses and KPGU( formerly Babaria) have good faculties for CSE and IT branch. Every 60 students is assigned 1 teacher/subject for lectures and have different faculties for practical lab work. There is mid exam (college level ) and final exam (under GTU ) every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
Students have to submit tech tech-based projects every 6 months forming teams of 4 students in each group. There are internal guides for each group for the successful completion of the project. PMC, Espark, UCI etc offered at least 15k stipend for tech-based roles.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for internships from sem 7 onwards. Companies like PMC,eSparkbiz, Qspiders, UCI, etc. visited the campus and have offers for 30 to 40 students from each company. After getting my degree, I want to do a job but still have not decided completely. Hopefully, if I get better company opportunities via campus placement then I will do the job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure: 56K for each sem (IT and CSE ) There are many scholarship benefits for Students who belong to the SC/ST category. Many good companies like Paul Masol Consulting, espark and many others offered internship opportunities to IT, and CSE Last yr students of KPGU with a minimum stipend of 15 K.
Campus Life
Many functions and tech fest take place during festival times and on some important days like Engineering Day. The library is build of two floors having almost every book required for your branch. Sports Day is organized every year in the month of Feb, all major sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc are played under proper instructions. Especially, there are fields for all major sports on campus.
Admission
There are no entrance examinations for BE admissions. Admissions are based on the cut-off process. During my period it was 70 percent for IT and 85 percent for CSE. I was lucky because the IT course was newly developed in that college in the year 2020, that's the only reason for the 15 per cent cut-off difference between IT AND CSE. The admission system is good in my opinion. There are many scholarship benefits for SC/st castes.
