The fee structure of the college is really decent for the amount of amenities they provide us
The canteen food available in really good in terms of quality
the college is open to people from all walks of the country

The college can provide us internship opportunities
the college can conduct regular fest each year for the campus life to be cheerful

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected this course because I wanted to pursue something related to agriculture and its allied sectors I thought why not choose B? Sc in agariculture which can help can more knowledge and then I can help the farmers in our village.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our total course fee stood at 6,40,000 approximately for the whole 4 years of the course and the fees included everything. The fee hike was not known to me and neither I was interested to know about it back then.

Campus Life

The campus life in GIET University is good but there are no annual fests that are held in our university. The library has lots of books and journals but known of them are for my use. There are only basic amenities in the classroom.

Admission

The admission process depends upon the marks that we have scored in our class 12th exam and as well as in our class 10th examination If we have scored more than 65% in both the exams we will become eligible to fill up the application form online.

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is one of the important and relevant subjects out of all. If we say about Indian context then most of the people are dependent on agriculture. So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology,genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. In our curriculum the mid sem occurs in the middle of the semester which is approx march in winter semester and in September- october in monsoon semester and the end semester exam held in end of the semester which is in December in monsoon semester and may in winter semester.

The most honest one!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I generally loved how they showed they give 100% placements. But there is not any. The teaching methods however is very good as they give us mainly practical knowledge and skill based education. Which really helps.

Everything happens for a reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

GIET UNIVERSITY - Best place to learn in southern odisha

According to money factor this college is great. Under such low fee college is great for providing course other than any college. I applied for SOA University and course fee is too high there. Also my college is a university. So there is no worry about anything. For admission in giet you have applied for OJEE odisha and contact a marketing officer or direct join in college. You have to pay 10-15 thousand rupees for advance fees. In admission day you have to pay hlaf of your fees in one year. You will get everything in that day. Rank doesn't matter here...Read More
