Annai College, Chennai

The college is best I think as from the first time only we had got to learn too much from our faculty and other sources too. I does provide a right studying environment hence gives an awesome experience.

The college takes admission after conducting a entrance examination that is held every year. I appeared and successfully cleared it too hence got admission here with pharmacy trade.

The curriculum is good. The Syllabus is lucid and quite elaborated. The content largely meets the expectation of standard.

The college gives opportunity for internship in some recognised organisations and hospitals. We are paid with average stipend of something around 4500.

Placements are not provided here and I think none of the medical institutions are having anything like placements. We are sent for training purposes and are given incentives for that.

Events are organised regularly. Last time we had one event on Introduction to Modern Drugs.

The fee we pay every year sums upto around 1 lacs 56 thousand. All the other fee such as transportation, mess etc are taken into separate account.

Scholarship plans are there and are also awarded to those who score well.

Extra curricular activities such as Annual Functions, cultural fest, Dj nights, sports meet etc are organised periodically.

Hostels are available with three sharing each. They are good but not much students opt for it.

Alumni network of our college is too much diverse. Many from here are practicing at good places and are called sometimes for interaction seminars.

Exams are conducted yearly once. Internal assessments,assignment submissions are taken into separate account.

Our professors are too much efficient and have proper understanding of the subject. They also lay stress upon practical learning strategies. They are well qualified too.
