Alumini Network which generally help in Off campus Placements
It's Infrastructure which make it unique even in city like Gorakhpur

Dislikes

Hostel and Mess is so bad that we generally eat from outside.
The exposure is so less as it is situated in Gorakhpur.
Shifting of Placements to only Tech and CS/IT sectors

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical Engineering is one of the oldest branches here and the faculty also have great knowledge and experience. But sometimes it seems non worth being in the Core branch. As the placements are way higher in IT Tech sectors and Branches like CSE.

Internships Opportunities

In our college internships are available in bulk and almost everyone gets a chance to appear and do an internship. Generally, students from the Core field choose UPPCL and Railways for internships. Students from Cs/It prefer companies like Microsoft and Google for internships.

Placement Experience

The average of core Placement is 3-4 lpa in which major companies which visit campus are Aditya Birla, LNT, UltraTech, etc. The average of Technical Placements is 6-8lpa of which major companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. In comparison to both Tech placements are more good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable in comparison to all other engineering colleges. One can Complete his/her Engineering (being in the hostel) in 4.5lakh which is cheaper. And if your family income is less than 2lakh you can get a Scholarship from UP govt. from 51k to 1lakh depending on your category.

Campus Life

The one factor that affects it the most and makes it Low in grade is the campus life. As the college is located in outer area and an underdeveloped city i.e. Gorakhpur. It is unable to provide that much good Campus life. However, it has 359 acres of campus and a well-green area which makes it sufficient for the infrastructure. There are many extra curricular activities in the college.

Admission

For Admission, you have to go through JEE MAINS examination and you have to apply for MMMUT Counselling from which you will be allotted a specific branch based on your CRL. The Reservation of Other states is 15% here. And rest reservations are common such as EWS, OBC, SC, and ST.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Placement Experience:

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

This collage has good return on investement. Its campus size is huge. On the basis of rank this collage offers decent placement. It is better than other state collages of UP.
