Remarks

There are very few things one can complaint about vaagdevi but there are some things need to be improved like infrastructure but overall its one of the best places to study and get socialized here you not only become an engineer but also become a great personality.

Entrance Preview

I am qualified in EAMCET and got an admission in this college with web counseling. there is only a web counseling process for the admisson of students,no interview is conducted. I am very much interested in computers and i have some basic knowledge of c-programming as i am interested in it since my high school.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which i chose was very much interesting.Computer Science & Engineering involves the design and understanding of computational process and programming languages. so for a design practical learning and research is very much important.

Internships Opportunities

Yes,In vaagdevi one does get opportunities of Internship generally Internships are available from 3rd year.Companies like Samsung, Airtel, Amazon, Vodafone Intel, Microsoft, etc are some of the companies that came for Internships. The average stipend offered by the companies was about 3000-5000. I being 1st year student I'm not sure about the stipend.

Placement Experience

Vaagdevi has a very good Placement and package record. last year the highest package offered was about 66 lakhs this year it is 53 lakhs but the placement process is not yet completed the average package of the core branches is about 15-18 lakhs. Companies like Microsoft, Samsung, amazon are some of the top companies that came for job placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much affordable the first year fees is 70000 but from 2nd year it reduces to about 30000 and for category students its very much less than 70000. I'm a category student and i did not have to pay the tuition fees.

Faculty

3.5

The Senior Faculty is very nice and experienced. Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Chemistry and Maths are some of the subject which have some exceptionally nice teachers. Teachers make comprehensive use of modern technology for teaching like PPT's. Some faculty have even started an innovative trend of creating whatsapp group and discussing problems online.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
