Remarks

JSPM has many branches. Amongst all, this branch is not so good but has very big campus and infrastructure. But only issue is that about fee and placements. Otherwise, it is fine.

Entrance Preview

I have taken regular admission in first year of engineering after HSC and also given one entrance exam which is JEE. I alloted this college on the basis of my JEE score. No any interview process because the process is totally as per the DTE rules.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil course is always best but it has less scope in market as compared to mechanical and IT branch. Less focus on practical study. No, research initiatives taken. No, there are no elective option for this course.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college TPO does not focus on the internships. College is very bad in terms of internships. I have no experience about the same.

Placement Experience

Actually JSPM college has total of 6 branches in pune. Thats why, placements are held combined for all JSPM branches. Companies like Amazon, BIL, TCS, etc. Averagely 30% students get placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is Rs. 1,05,000/- As the fees figure directly says that our college fee structure is not good and too high. I am from OBC category, thats why i paid Rs. 56,000/- every year.

Faculty

Faculty is highly qualified such as PhD as well as ME level and some are having high experience as 5-6 years. But less interactive and not focus on students learning, only focus on the lectures and submission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
