Likes

The environment is very beautiful and they maintained properly.
They give more chance to win the sports in the college
They provide well and clear syllabus and it same to the competitive exams

Dislikes

Selections of faculties in the college was disliked
They input Christianity in the campus like churches
They put more fines who are disobey the college rules

Course Curriculum Overview

For competitive exam purposes, I took the course. The faculties were very friendly and the students maintained a friendly relationship with the facilities. The qualification was a PhD or degree holder. Exams were conducted properly and the range passing was medium.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know the the answer because I was in the department of Tamil so it is not possible to internship and company visit. And I prepare for only competitive exams, not for the company job and internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was very affordable to poor people and all the sections of society. Many scholarships were given only to the SC and ST communities of the people, not other communities.

Campus Life

Pongal was celebrated very well and the college in December conducted properly and joyfully There are many books and journals available in the library The amenities are simply good It is the key role of my college, they give more amenities to sports. Yssr ( youth social service responsible) was run by students and it did work well.

Admission

Only the eligibility was to pass the 12th standard. The college website will provide the all details about the college fees, application dates, and forms. Only the SC and ST avail of the benefits. To open the merit system rather than money.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures.
