Likes

The campus of our college is very beautiful which is the main attraction.
The campus provides a good environment for students.
The infrastructure is also good. The teachers are some times friendly.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not worth it and the fans and lights do not work properly.
The labs are also not so good and lack many of the needs of the student.
The computers do not work properly in labs and no provision for AC.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had many options in choice of course. The best one was Ece which is electronic and communication engineering. And I got it. There are 2 divisions in our batch consisting of 60-60 students in each batch. Most of the faculty members are Mtech and Ph.D. graduates. Term exams are held timely and you really have to study to pass the examination.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are the only plus point of studying in a private college with a minimal fees structure. Our first-year fee was 1,50,000 rupees. And the hike policy is 10%. The second year's fees were only raised by 8000 rupees which is 1,58,000 and my current 3 rd year fees is 1,67,000. Scholarships are provided based on different criteria.

Campus Life

Our college's annual fest is Bharatiyam which was held in my 4 th semester after many years. Books and journals are available easily in the library and you can easily use it. There are many different clubs based on the interests of the students they can participate in.

Admission

I was admitted to Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in 2021. I was from the Corona batch. Our college admission entrance examination was online. I remember I took the 2nd round examination. And I cleared it and got admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
