Course Curriculum Overview

This is one of the few colleges in my neighbourhood to have chemical engineering. The student-to-faculty ratio is 20:1. Each of the 6 faculties has finished phd and have involved in each specialization. Completing two research papers per year is mandatory.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Mostly the chemical students are placed in core companies for an average package of 4 lpa with the highest being 9 lpa. The students are also placed in IT companies for a basic package of 4lpa. The students can also have offers from more than 3 companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students having a cutoff greater than 190 can avail of a full tuition fee waiver and transport or hostel fee waiver through tnea counselling. And those who have a cutoff greater than 180 can avail tuition fee waiver alone. They also help in gaining info about third-party scholarships. They also accept students through many social welfare groups.

Campus Life

Technical events are conducted for every department through a symposium conducted every year during the month of September. The cultural is conducted during the period of February. Pongal Fest and Onam Fest are conducted. Chem clubs, maths clubs, coding clubs and so on are organized for each department

Admission

You need to complete your sslc and apply for tnea counselling. You can have a minimum of 100 cutoff for chemical engineering seats. The application form has to be filled in online. The reference number of 8 digits is provided for individuals which is helpful in admission.
