I chose this course because most commerce students' first choice is B.com. B.com is not that valuable course and 1st year is nothing new, The basics of accounting were taught, and if you're a commerce student you'll be bored. Faculty to student ratio is not bad. There are qualified teachers and friendly also. Term exams were held timely and the difficulty of exams was easy.

In the last year of B.com i.e. 3rd year there are some mid-size firms/companies coming for placements. 5-20 companies come for placements. In this college, most students don't serve on placements because most students go for masters or competitive exams.

Fees are quite economical in this college. There are some scholarships that students can avail of worth 4000. Parking, events and festivals are also celebrated in this college that defined fees. Exposure is poor in this college but there are some small and mid-size companies that come in for campus placements.

The college campus is not big or small compared to tier 2 cities like Durg. Social life is quite good, everyone is friendly. There are some celebrations like fresher parties farewell. As far as the fest is concerned there are massive fests in the Engineering department of Shankaracharya College. All Hindu festivals are celebrated starting from Ganesh Pooja to Holi. There is a library in this college which is fine, all books are available here. There are tons of NGOs and social groups as well as extracurricular activities.

No eligibility is required as long as you are a STEM student or commerce student. Most information can be found on the college website and you can also contact them or visit personally. The admission process is quite good, no improvement is needed.
