Course Curriculum Overview

As biotechnology is an applied course, there is good scope for biotechnology students in the biomedical industry, in various institutions and laboratories. Though It is great to go for higher education in this field. Faculty members of the department are good and they all have great control over their area and subject specific to them. All the faculty members are NET-qualified and active in the research areas. They have their own method of teaching in a positive way. Exams were conducted yearly. It is good if someone studies consistently, it will be helpful for securing good marks in exams.

Class Size: 97Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is around 30k yearly for UG courses in Biotechnology. There a criteria to fill out the scholarship form. And no other financial assistance is there. A student can get internship opportunities if He or she has a certain qualification as the placement cell has been established in the university and now they are providing great opportunities to the students.

Campus Life

An annual fest "Youth Festival" is organized by the university every year in which the university and all its affiliated colleges participate. There is a Central library on the university campus in which a huge number of books in hard copy as well as e-books are available.

Admission

They conduct an entrance exam for various courses running on the university campus itself and associated colleges. Application forms are available on the university website. For UG courses, eligibility is 10+2 in the relevant subject and a certain percentage for applying. Application forms and a detailed admission brochure are available on the university website and the application process is totally online. Application fees are according to the subject you are opting for. There is also a reservation criteria for SC ST, PWD and EWS students. The selection process is very fair and depends upon the performance in the entrance test. The syllabus of the entrance exam is very basic and subject-based.

Review of University reality

Placement Experience:

Lucknow University does not have very strong campus placements for B.Sc students, as most companies prefer professional or technical courses like B.Tech or MBA. However, a few job fairs and placement drives are organized where companies from education, sales, and basic research roles visit. The placement opportunities usually start after the 5th semester. The average package offered is quite low compared to other professional colleges, and only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. Most B.Sc students prefer to go for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed or prepare for competitive exams such as SSC, Bank, UPSC, State PCS, etc.

In the University campus replacements are the very good Hindi engineering courses and law but in the forensic the placement companies come very less. Fifth semester students are eligible for the campus placement in any courses in the engineering courses the highest package of the students gone 12 LPA. I choose this collge over other college because firstly I belong to this city and this is a only government College in my Kanpur city which provied a quality of education. I didn't applied any other Colleges so I didn't get rejected from any other Colleges. The admission process of this college is very simpler first fill the university admission form that is 300 fees and then fill all the other information in smarth portal that is generalised database of so many colleges then the faculty and the college coordinators will approve your admission and sent you a email to come over college and give the writen paper and an interview and then you will enter in your college and admission granted.
