Remarks

College infrastructure is good and all facilities are available but the regular lectures are needed with support of teachers in any other activities.

Entrance Preview

You have to appear in MHT CET or JEE MAIN for the admission. The typical cut-off is minimum 100 marks in the entrance exam without interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

The daily routine is not very hectic. College timings are 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. Practicals, projects and exams are generally organized during college hours.

Internships Opportunities

I have not done any internship yet. And college also not promote to do internships so they should do it. Students need industrial knowledge and so internships are required.

Placement Experience

Some of the local companies offer jobs to our college students. Also, companies like wipro, TCS also conduct campus interviews. The last batch placed in wipro had an average package of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum and highest salary package was Rs 12 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per me the fees is too more. I can't submit full fee but their is option of scholarship form.The course fee is Rs 78,400. Many students get scholarships. An average of 10% students gets scholarships.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite good, all students get placed for in plant training programme in the last semester of the programme through alumni contacts only.

The class timing is from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm at Maharashtra Institute of Technology. The quality of teaching is good on campus. Teachers are well qualified, interactive and free with nature with good standard of teaching.The projects and assignments are given on daily basis.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
