Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen CSE because I feel it's my passion. The course is as per the BPUT syllabus. But in here in my college, we only have 2 permanent teachers in the entire department. With all the rest being local contractual teachers, who just care about finishing the course. In some cases, they don't even finish the course, and they're just okay with it because they know that there's no one above them to question them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite low compared to other private institutions and government ones as well. BPUT does take into consideration a lot of scholarships. Though this could be considered as an aisle side. We haven't even got a single internship opportunity in my B.Tech tenure.
Campus Life
No, Nothing. The college doesn't provide any co-curricular activities. And in the entire ear, only 3 events take place - The Annual Fest, Fresher's Orientation, Farewell. That's it. Even all of these are totally organized by students, with little to no contribution of any faculty. The college doesn't even have a playground for students to play. And because of the remote nature of this college, there isn't much outside the campus as well.
Admission
The admission process was quite easy. They considered JEE Rank as an admission criterion. I applied for counseling on the OJEE website. If you get a rank anywhere below 2L, you can most likely get into this college. The admission process itself was full of bugs, here and there a lot of students had faced this issue. I hope they make it a bit smoother.
