On Campus and Beyond: ITM B-School Reviewed

I choose this course to enhance my communication skills and also to increase my self-confidence and to remove stage fear. There were so many students, somewhere around 750 and they are divided into 12 batches and each batch consists of 60-67 students. There are lot of experienced faculties who share their in-depth knowledge with the students to make them excellent. The external exams are scheduled after the end of every semester and the internals iclude class participation, attendance, VIVA, presentation and assignments.

There are various companies which come to the campus for recruitment like Deloitte, Aditya Birla Group, PWC, Accenture, Nielson IQ, etc. There are various job roles under internships like assist and contribute to the team, peerforming clerical duties, managing social media and emails, event hadling, research projects, etc.

After 2nd semester the students are eligible for the internships and after completing the 4th semester students are eligible for the placements. There are various companies which are visiting the campus like Deloite, Nielson IQ, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Accenture, PWC, ICICI Bank, Aditya Birla Group, etc. The last year's highest package was 22 lakhs and average package was 8.65 lakhs which is quite good according to the company profiles. There were 100% placements from this institute. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a reputed company and achieve the goals of the organisation.

Firstly, the fees are quite good in comparison to the reputation of the college. So, the 1st Semester fees are 5,20,000 and the 2nd semester fees are 5,75,000 which makes a total of 10,95,000. A student can also get scholarshipswhich can have maximum bnefits in fee reductions. You are also entitled to a loan if you wish to. After passing the two semesters you are sent to an 5 month internship in the respective fields and you canhave a good stipend.

There were so many events which takes place in the campus and also a big event in the foundation programme which is called the Melange 8.0. Books are provided by the college in the library and we can also issue the books for 1 month. There are a lot of options availabe in the library. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and with good furniture. There are various sports events and extra curriculm activities which takes place in the college like Kurukshetra,etc. Students can also take part in various clubs like E-cell, Nethra Club, CSI and Rotary Club, etc.

The hostel is located at 1km away from the campus and it includes various facilities like playing area, study area, ventilated rooms, with proper cleaning everyday. The hostel includes a mess in which the food quality is not so good so I would not suggest taking the mess subscription. The registration process was quite good as there was less paperwork and less time. And the hostel is located at a very good area with good surroundings.

The admission process was pretty smooth as in first I visited the website of ITM Group of Institutions and I filled the application form with a minimal fees of Rs.2000, the application dates were also very flexible as compared to other colleges. After that there comes the eligibility of the PGDM course, so I have given ATMA exam for that and this college accepts various entrance exams. And after that there was a very smooth procees for registration. So there is no difficulty in doing that.
