Course Curriculum Overview

I like this course because I am fond of the software industry. Our college faculty is very good in person and selves all types of doubts that students have without any anger. Exams were from time to time but the semester-end exams are a little bit tough.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many projects done by the students to actively understand the technologies that are being happened in today's world and also some online internships that provide free courses for the students.

Placement Experience

From 7 th semester placements begin. But this year placements are low due to the recession but hope to get a good job if not I am planning for applying and studying in the stream so that I can secure a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

For cse department, it is 66000 and if the students perform well in the exams scholarship is provided year-wise with taking attendance into consideration. It is like an encouragement to the students so that they can perform well in the exams.

Campus Life

It is good. There are many student chapters like CSI, site, and gdsc where some of the social activities are done for the students, and every sports day numerous sports will be held where faculty and the students engage actively.

Admission

Through eamcet where I scored 7110 ranks, I opted computer science and engineering department at Gmr institute of Technology. The cutoff for the Cse department is 10000 rank in eamcet so I got the opportunity In the first counseling only.

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
