Remarks

Colleges are for students to excel in there fields and not just crumbling a day before your exams will lead you to success. Colleges should be made keeping in mind that students needs to explore and be more practical. Students needs to be more interactive and engaging, fests and workshops should be very frequent. Sorry to say but there are no fests or workshops or anything engaging.

Entrance Preview

All those who want to pursue Engineering has to go through an entrance exam called EAMCET. If you succeed (qualify) then according to your rank you get college selections. That's how I landed in this college. Now a days those who get a rank in EAMCET gets full fee reimbursement. Thank God. There is no interview like thing here. It's because of my rank that I am in this college otherwise...

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I only hear about practical labs which are just for the sake of syllabus. You get no knowledge of the subject you are studying, all you got to do is memorize everything here even the coding. Till now I have no knowledge of the subject I am in. And I feel I won't even know now or till my 4 years, all thanks to my college.wow! And don't ask me about any research initiative taken by our college because we don't even have any fest or workshops here.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is for those who have good track records. It's very rear that I hear internship word in our campus. Sometimes there are some companies which visit to offer internship. Stipend is like negligible.

Placement Experience

0.5

No major companies visit here. And why will they visit when a student is not allowed to explore. Here we are only like caged animals which are not allowed to even play or stand in the corridor. Just few unknown companies visit and select some 5-10 people and give very less package.

College Events

0.5

Oh please, don't ask me about any events or fests taking place here. No technical, cultural or managerial fests are allowed in Deccan college. It's all illegal. And all this is contributed by our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you get convener seat from the EAMCET exam then you'll be paying nothing, there are some University cost that needs to be taken by you. Like 5-6k per year apart from exam fees which is increasing semester by semester. For those who don't get rank in EAMCET you need to pay lots of money which is in short wasting your money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is all given by the state government for students who get a rank through an entrance exam called EAMCET.

Campus Life

1.5

As I told you earlier we are not allowed to play. No extracurricular activities are allowed inside out campus though we have a big ground which is reserved for political meetings.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No hostel rooms. Only for day scholars.

Alumni/Alumna

Don't know about any great alumni from our college. And sorry, but it's the hard truth.

Faculty

3

Almost all faculty here is well qualified but they are not interactive. Even if they want to be interactive there is this " college issue" which doesn't permit them to be interactive. And most importantly EGO issue.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
