BBDITM College review(honest)

I choose BTech CSE because I am really passionate about coding and technology. The aktu syllabus and curriculum are followed in our college and exams are also conducted according to them. There is a different faculty for every subject and takes a class of 60 students. Most of the teachers have done their masters and some of them hold the Ph.D. too. The term exams happen 2 times every semester and one pre-exam test happens just before the semester. The exams are easy to pass.

The students get eligible for placement only after 3rd year. Most of the companies that visit our startups and product-based companies and barely give offers above 5 lpa. The highest placements are around 18-24 lpa which was off-campus placement. Average placement is around 4 to 5 lpa. About 70% of students get placed every year. I am preparing for off-campus placement.

There is an aktu scholarship of about 50k which you get every year you just need to fill out some of the documents and forms and submit them to the college and an online portal. There is also a fee-waiver seat which you can get during the counseling process. The college does not provide internship opportunities also campus placement is really bad if you are not too skilled you would rather be not placed or at 3-5 lpa.

There is no monthly tech fest but an annual tech fest is conducted. It provides a lot of opportunities to everyone in different fields. There is only a course book available in the college library. No special classes are designed for normal classes like that in school. There are a lot of sports happening throughout the year you just need to be good at it to participate. Some technical clubs are run by seniors in which freshers are not allowed to participate.

I took admission through Jee mains entrance exam. Then I applied for UPTAC(aktu) counseling. I was getting a lot of good colleges in Noida but I choose BBDITM because it is near my home. There is no reservation benefit but you get an aktu scholarship every year. Direct admission is also available through the management quota. There should be a strict cutoff and it should not vary just for the sake of taking a lot of students, this is the change I want to see in the admission process.
