Remarks

Except for the placements, extra curriculars and events are the best here. If you want to enjoy your 4 years with minimal studies choose this one with attendance.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for my JEE exam which is an entrance exam for engineering. This college has a low cut-off so it was easy to get admissions in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is same as decided and affilated to Mumbai University. If you develop interest, the whole curriculum will be good. Overall, it is pretty cool.

Internships Opportunities

Our college doesn't conduct internships. Though some plans to conduct the same within an year or two for the students has been executed.

Placement Experience

Our college has no special placements. Only Godrej conducts their campus interviews every year ans recruits 3-4 students from certain branches. Few other local firms also selects students which offers only a paltry 8000-10000 per month.

College Events

Cultural festival, sports, annual celebrations take place with great enthusiasm. The annual festival is of 3 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure varies every year with an increase. The fee structure according to which I paid last year amounted to 90000. The coming years see an increase as it is a private college.

This college is an ideal one if you are much interested into sports, cultural programmes and events rather than academics and technology.

No hostel facilities are provided here.

Faculty

The teaching staff is very kind and cooperative in our college. They are professional teachers with some of them being PhD holders. Some are pursuing their further studies too.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Excelling with KGCE

Teaching staff - Good and helpful Extracurricular activities like Seminars, Project building courses related to their academics are held WiFi is Available Library, Gymkhana, Cyber Cafe - Available in good condition Annual sports and cultural festivals are held. The college is in a remote area so Buses for students and staff are available from the railway station to college also a special bus for students traveling from Pen via Khopoli.
