Likes

I like that they give scholarship to student every sem.
I like Library having lots of book in it having good quality.
I like free WiFi facilities in whole campus.

Dislikes

Mobile phone is restricted in whole campus.
There is old syllabus and old teaching method.
There is no more practical knowledge for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are a total of 3 exams conducted every semester. The amount then two taken by the college and one taken by GTU. Mid sem exams are for 40 marks and GTU exams are for 70 marks. There are also good knowledge faculties in our college.

Internships Opportunities

There is some internship available for students who get placed in a particular company. They also provide training and stipend to students who are placed in them, students have to work on various projects which are different from company to company.

Placement Experience

There are very good placements in our college, in the 6th semester of study companies start to take interviews of students and get placed. There is improvised, Tatvasoft, Nevosoft, a site visit our company for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a total of 93000 rupees per year per student we need to pay. But one of the best things about our college is that they give scholarships to students who come first in their branch every mesester.

Campus Life

There are many festivals and functions we celebrate in our college like Ganesha, Navratri, and Diwali also, we have one big annual function every year. Also, we have a tech fest in our college every year in it there are many events.

Admission

In our college, we have to give 2 exams one of the 12th Board exams and the second one is the Gujcet exam. After that, we have to follow ACPC rules and policies for getting admission to college. There is around a 5000 cut-off for computer science students.

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

balanced with learning and challenges

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

My Life at D.D.I.T

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.
