Course Curriculum Overview

This course has a huge opportunity to learn about plants. The faculties have clearly explained the course. There are 3 lectures for each subject. The qualification of the faculties is Ph.D. and the teaching style of professor is nice. There are 2 semesters in a year and for 1 semester one midterm exam and one final practical and theory exam. The exams are moderated to pass.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

All the Students get the scholarship except the students whose parents are Government employees. The students are eligible for SC and ST scholarships also. The cost of the fees for the study is decent for this college. The Scholarship includes the ICAR scholarship, Jagananna Vidyadevana, and Vasthi devena. In the final year, the course has an RHWEP program and the college provide 18000 in stipend for 2 semesters.

Campus Life

The campus life was joyful and memorable. The College conduct College day every year and also conducts intercollegiate Sports meet for the students of all colleges affiliated with this university. For 75 students one classroom and they also provide digital classrooms for better understanding. The College provides the best sports activities and encourages the students to national level sports competitions.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel for every 3 boys one room is provided and the room is provided with 3 cupboards, 3 beds, and 2 study chairs. The food quality is superb and the menu of food contains weekly 4 times chicken in dinner and daily egg in dinner. Breakfast includes Dosa, Idly, Punugulu, Kichidi, Upma, and Chapathi alternatively.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The course needs an Intermediate In Bipc stream or a Diploma in Horticulture. If the candidate is Intermediate he took the APEACET exam or in the case of a diploma student he took Horticet Exam. The details of the College should be checked on YSRHU official website. This college is best for those who have reservations and are eligible for scholarships. The College environment is So good. The maintenance of the College is ok but the hostels are average. Overall the College is best for Horticulture study.

Placement Experience:

Fromthird year last semister they used to get placements . But placements are very less in our college due to government University . Mostly the Banking sectors jobs the students will get . The highest package is around 8lpa Average is around 3-4lpa Very less percentage mostly used to prefer for government jobs and higher studies My plans is to go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Many prefer to pursue higher studies than placements in this course. Many Agriculture related companies are involved in the placement. Placement percentage around 50%. After the degree, I plan to go for MBA in agri business management.

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
