My experience at PDEU

I was interested in chemical engineering and the knowledge I am getting here is like having industrial experience. All the faculties are passed from IIT. And have so much experience in teaching. The method of teaching is also easy to understand for students.

I am currently in my third year so I don't have much knowledge about the internship but as of my senior experience, the internship is great having a task to complete during the internship and doing it as you work in the industry, the task having industrial problems to solve or something like it.

Students after the seventh semester are eligible for campus placements. In our chemical department, we have so far an 80% ratio of students who got admission through campus placements. Companies like Reliance, Asian Paints, IOCL, etc. are collaborating with PDEU for placements.

The fees of the college are highest in Gujarat at 2.4 lakhs per year. So we expect college to give us a valuation of our degree by providing us with a nice job and also college has a Carrier development cell (CDC). The have one lecture per week to develop skills for after B.Tech jobs or startups.

The campus is big including all the sports ground and also have educational clubs providing extracurricular activities. Also, we conduct two fests per year, Tesseract- technical fest and Flair- cultural fest. We have been provided with three big libraries including all kinds of books for technology to novel anything. So many clubs with different ideologies are run by students.

We are having three sharing in a room. Every student has a chair and table with a shelf and a cupboard. And attached washroom with hot and cold water tap. We are getting hot water 24/7. Food is ok. I am not very liking food but sometimes they make appreciable food.

Admission can be done through ACPC. Also can be applied to JEE exam, and for that, you have to fill out the form on PDEU's official site. I was suggested to once visit college before getting admission and my visit to PDEU was great, I got plenty of information from the visit.
