IIIT Bhagalpur exclusive review

I choose this course because it's related to AI and Robotics. This course is a mixture of Mechanical, Electronics and CSE. I was interested in CSE related branch and was good at Physics so I took this branch. Also, I had no other better options than this in other NITs and IITs. Most of the faculties have done PHD from IITs, NITs and some from foreign universities. All faculties have good knowledge. Some have a good way of teaching but some are unable to teach properly. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:15 There are mid-semester and final semesters and some quizzes and assignments take place in between. The exams are moderate not so difficult to pass but not so easy also.

Companies which came for internship - Amazon (80K per month), Infosys, Zscaler, Synopsis, Jio Infocomm, ctc There any many research internships available through colleges: One student got a research internship at NUS University, Singapore. Many students get research internships at IITs, IISC, ISRO, DRDO, etc.

Campus placements start in Aug-Sep and run till Dec-Jan. Students are eligible to sit after the 6th semester. Some companies which visited campus in 2022-2023 placements are: Amazon(7 offers), BYJU's(4 offers), BeeHyv(3 offers), C-DOT (2 offers), Deloitte, Jio Incocomm(6 offers), Macquarie (3 offers), Public Sapients, Synopsis(5 offers), Smart Coin(3 offers), Samsung SDS (5 offers), Nxtwave, Ambient Scientific, etc The avg package for 2022-23 is 15.6 LPA and highest package 46LPA by Amazon Almost 99% of student gets placed. I am thinking to get placement after getting my degree, or I may pursue higher education in some IITs or abroad

Fees are same almost the same as other IIITs and IITs. The total tuition fee for four years would be around 9 Lakhs. And another 2.5-3 lakhs for the hostel and mess. Total it would be 12 Lakhs. You can get scholarships from the Central or State govt. But there are not many scholarships from college you get some if your family income is very low. You can easily get education loans as this is an Institute of National Importance.

We have our cultural fest called Enyugma which happens around October. The college is running on the campus of BCE Bhagalpur. Its campus is being built near it. The work of the new campus is almost complete and the hostels will be functional from August 2023 and it will be fully functional till December 2023. The new campus is on the bank of the Ganga and the view of Ganga from the hostel or academic building is very pleasing. Recent Classrooms are not so good a bit old. But the classrooms on the campus are very large and are going to have all the amenities and will be fully air-conditioned. The new campus has a big ground for football and cricket and basketball, volleyball, tennis and banding courts are also being made there. We have Udyatva sports fest. We also have many social clubs like music, art, photography, cinematography, graphics designing, and animation. Some technical clubs like Robotics and Electronics, Cyber Security, AI & ML, etc.

Our current hostels are somehow below average and very old. But the new hostels are very good they are 3 seaters with 3 different beds, tables, wardrobes and chairs. Registration for a hostel is simple, you just have to opt for the hostels and pay the fees. Almost most of the freshers will get new hostels some may get old hostels, but all will get hostels. Hostels are affordable with total fees of around 60K per year including mess. There are 3 meals in mess and quality of food is average. The quality of breakfast in best, then quality decreases till dinner. You can rent a room or PG outside the campus its also very cheap but most people prefer to stay in hostels

The college takes admission through JEE Mains Rank. The admission is taken through JOSSA and CSAB counselling online. There are reservations from OBC-NCL, GENERAL-EWS, SC, ST and Female candidates. You can see the JOSSA website for seats under each category. After getting the seat through online counselling, We have to report to the college for document verification and fee payment. Then our admission is fully confirmed. The admission process is very easy and transparent.
