Remarks

Overall average I can say but when coming to placements it is worst I can say. it is totally based on luck. My overall experience was good I can say. it's not that bad to study I'm gitam.

Entrance Preview

I wrote my entrance exam for joining in gitam. I scored good marks. Basically I am interested in electronics background so the score I secured in entrance test is more then enough to get a good branch for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was really good.i liked the faculty taught us. They are basically practically well knowledged based persons when compared with book knowledge but yes they mainly focus on practical knowledge. That's what the student want.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internships. last year I have done my internship at electronics corporation of India liMited. it is a good experience there to learn new things.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario was good.but mostly TCS will recruit gitam students .if in case if u are not placed in Tcs then almost ur life sucks there itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was about 2.4 lakh per year .It was worth .Hostel fee is separate it is almost 7k per month.Hostel rooms are good and food is really good.

yeah scholarship is around 10k per student if he or she secures good score in their academics.

Hostel Facilities

Gitam hostels are very good with tasty food and nice hostels.they cost around 7k per month .

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, it was a good interaction with our alumni. it costs around 1200.

Exam Structure

Yes almost every engineering college have the same criteria. so basically we enjoy what we are doing there. it's like chill culture. don't worry.

Faculty

They are almost PhDs and also m tech candidates . If they want to teach in gitam they should have minimum experience of about 5 years .college staff is much qualified and experienced.

My college do provide on campus placement opportunities and most of top companies in india will come for the recruitment and a few foreign based company and a few students will choose to extend their career by doing masters and the avg package is 7.5 lakhs

Placement Experience:

Campus interview, for our college, thinking to execute myself in right perspective. Our college principal suggested us to join in job and if possible parallel nature to do masters, of course it might possible for me, Somehow without getting into recruited in campus placements went to Hyderabad for to join in IT Sector. Since, we are the first most batch to our college may be with that reason for mine not to get to active in to get more number of placement companies.

From Third year (3 rd year) Second Semester(2nd sem) the placements will begin it means that students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies like wipro, L & T ,Infosys , Capgemini , Mphasis and so on. I got one later of intent and attempted many interviews. Its around 30 to 60 I guess.

The admission process was so smooth. The cut off is 70% to be eligible for cse course in GITAM. There are benifits such as scholarships for students in economically in weaker sections and also students having merit are offered scholarship.
