Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Pharmacy is a dynamic field comprising of medicines, healthcare, research and development, the regulatory requirements of a product, its pharmacology, study of clinical trials, etc. This profession opens up the vast majority of career opportunities in both the private as well government sector. Plus it has overall good career growth. The faculty-student ratio would be around 1:40. For every 40 students 1 faculty is there.
Internships Opportunities
Firstly I did 45 Days of Hospital Training at District Combined Hospital, Sector 30, Noida. Here learned about Emergency procedures, Handling prescriptions, and patient care. Did 30 Days of Industrial Training at Arbro Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.Kirti Nagar, Delhi.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year onwards one becomes eligible for mock interviews and from 4th year you are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are ALEMBIC PHARMACEUTICALS, KOZENT SOLUTIONS, MEDITAB, IDS INFOTECH, LIFESCIENCES Pvt. Ltd, OCTAVUS CONSULTING, PRYSTN CARE. The highest package was around 450000 LPA and the average was 280000 LPA. Almost 60% of the students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee was around 540000, with 10000 as a security deposit. You get around 5000-10000 as a scholarship based on your year's final exams. The fees remain the same for all four years. Since it's affiliated with AKTU so the exam fees every year is around 7000-8000.
Campus Life
Some annual fests that happen here are Pharma Fest, Annual Fest, plantation day, swalakshya week, sports week, and others also. The library consists of books from all genres, you will get each and every book for all semesters. You don't have to buy books for semester exams.
Admission
One must be passed with 55% in class 12 with either PCM with C.S. or PCMB or PCB. No requirement for any Entrance exams. The application form is filled out offline and online as well. The cost for the same was 1000/- No Reservation.
