Very Good Return On. If you are looking for an MBA degree, and prepare side by side on your start up or government job. This is the best place. This college is compared with BIM, Trichy. Students of my batch preferred NIT over BIM. It was not a good decision.

Review is FOR MBA COURSE. I appeared for CAT in Nov. 2014. Scored 92.53 percentile. As my main objective was to prepare for government job, I was looking for a decent college which is very flexible with timings and curriculum. Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy was an ideal match. Moreover, the two year MBA fees was around Rs 2,20,000/-. Which is far below than average MBA fees. Looking at a good ROI, I finalized this college for MBA. After CAT MARKS, We appeared for a GD and PI round. I was selected in the first list. Overall 5 lists were released. As many students prefer booking a decent college and then, keep opting for a better one.

Course, subject wise is good, but syllabus wise, is somewhat lagging (except BA-ITC). For OPERATIONS and HR it is lagging. Finance is average. BA- ITC is at par with other leading institutes. And in ANALYTICS, IT IS ONE OF THE LEADING INSTITUTE. No idea about Marketing. 8/10 points for practical learning in ITC and Analytics field. Research- YES. Every PhD Faculty was having at-least two scholars undertaking research work.. Total 12 electives out of 34 subjects were offered. Institute is very flexible with electives.

Yes, almost 95% students got internship from college. Average stipend was Rs 3000 to 5000. Getting the required profile is somewhat tricky. one needs to be clear about profile. I got internship at CapAnalec services, Nagpur with CREDIT PROFILE. Couple of students got PPO as well.

Out of 64, 60 people were interested in placements. Of that, around 52 were placed. Major companies- caterpillar, Blue Star, TCS,

Festember, NITTFEST, AVERAGE FOOTFALL was more than 10,000. Organisation was highly tech upgraded. Completely organised by Engineering students of NIT, Trichy. College is too supportive. Actually, fees for the event is already collected at time of admission. Hence, almost everyone participates in events. Beside this, interdepartmental events are also organised. MBA department PUBLISHES ITS MONTHLY MAGAZINE AS WELL.

One of the Most affordable MBA college, especially at time when even MBA jobs are not guaranteed. Total MBA course fees were Rs 2,20,000. Of that, we received a refund of caution money of average Rs 12000. Rs 2,20,000 was paid in four equal installments. And refund was credited in the month of November.

Extraordinary tehnical and non-technicals. ORGANIZING interdepartment, intra college games and events.

Other than 1 student, everyone resided in hostel. Single rooms were allotted. Total hostel + mess fees was Rs 1,04,000 which was paid in 4 equal instalments.

Very good. Almost 10 copanies visit because of alumni network.

CHILL CULTURE, COMPARED TO PREMIER MBA COLLEGES. In EVERY TWO MONTHS, Mains exam was there. It is a trimester pattern.

Other than Operations, Faculty is highly qualified. Most of them being a PhD. AVERAGE EXPERIENCE WAS OF 13+ YEARS. As strength is 92, of which around 75 are filled, so interaction level is high. But issues are there with temporary, contract basis faculty. Though faculty is highly qualified, but they don't take much efforts(other than BA-ITC, Analytics and Marketing faculty). Good organisation of guest lectures, somehow overshadows the drawback of faculties.
