Review about MUJ

I was always fond of computers & hence I decided to make my career in coding. The student-faculty ratio is pretty good. You have multiple options to choose from as well. All faculties here are PhD, and their teaching methods are also very satisfactory. Exams are conducted every month with assignments & quizzes every fortnight. The difficulty is moderate.

The college provides internships with MNCs & gives a good stipend as well. And if the student is good then they are offered permanent jobs as well. Computer science-related branches are given great opportunities for internships.

The placements for BTech are very decent. Many multinational companies visit the campus for placements. The highest package last academic year was 52LPA on campus & 1.6Cr off campus. The average package is around 12LPA.

The fee for my batch was 3.5 Lac per year. Scholarships are provided based on financial condition & merit as well. Internships are provided by the college & on-campus placements are also given. Bank loan is also provided via the college.

There is a major technical fest & cultural fest. Well-known artists are invited. The library is accessible to all with thousands of books. The E-library is also made available. The classrooms are air-conditioned. They have step farming-type benches which makes it easy for everyone to look at the board. There are green boards & whiteboard & a projector too. The college has more than 50 student clubs which are spread across all domains. This is handled by the Directorate of student welfare which is handled by the students & a few faculties itself. The technical clubs have a website for freshers which consists of all info required for freshers.

The hostel is a private organization named Good Host Spaces. It has many buildings. It is governed by The chief warden. There are three types of rooms available. Triple occupancy, double occupancy, & single premium. All have attached washrooms. There are multiple lifts in all buildings. All rooms are air-conditioned. The mess is way better than most of the reputed institutes in the country. Breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner are provided. The hostel is very very comfortable, the registration and booking process happens when the university sends an email. It is a little expensive but the quality provided is worth it. There are many many PGs or rental flats near the university. They are within walking distance from the college. They are quite cheap. The area is Bagru & Dehmi Kalan.

Admission happens in two ways. Entrance exam (MET):- It is for all branches of Manipal. It is 240 marks. You need at least 110 130 marks for Manipal main campus computer science. And 80 90 for Manipal University Jaipur computer science. Another way is direct admission. You need 60+ in PCM 12th to get admission. You can find the form, fees, dates etc on the official website of Manipal university Jaipur. The admission process can be done faster. It takes time.
