Remarks

I don't recommend this college to anyone. My personal experience with this college was really bad, I'm writing this cause someone who's willing to join this college will change their mind and won't join this college for god's sake.

Entrance Preview

I didn't take any entrance exam,I payed 1.5 lakhs as donation for the seat. There was no interview process. I'm actually interested in game designing and computer science helps me in understanding the coding part in the games, I'm actually interested in game development too.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course that I've chosen is computer science. It was a good course In my perspective. I'm actually interested in coding part, so I utilize my labs to learn all the coding stuff in lab hours. The faculty helps you in lab practical when it comes to exams

Internships Opportunities

There are no internships provided in our college and moreover they won't give permission to do internship outside the campus. They won't even provide you attendance for the students who go for internships.

Placement Experience

There are good number of companies coming to the college for recruitment and some major companies like Microsoft, Infosys,TCS, tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc are recruiting students from our college.

College Events

Yeah! There will be few technical and non-technical events organised in the past few years. There will be a grand fest combined for all departments in the college, this fest is organized once in a year. There will be other technical event too on engineers day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tution fee is 1.5 lakh as of now. I think the fee structure is a bit high for this college. The infrastructure is not much good and there won't be any art clubs and stuff like that. Even there is no scope for sports in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship program provided by the government not by the college. I didn't avail any kind of scholarship in the college. Yeah! College helps in getting the government scholarship for the benefit of the college and the students too.

Faculty

For teaching on a scale of 1-10 I'll give 6. Most of the faculty here has good educational background but none of them are good at teaching and they don't come to the class on time and they don't leave the class on time.

placements are excellent,thanks to centralized placement cell serves all VIT campuses. students become eligible for campus placements from third year onwards.The university has a strong track record with over 900 companies visiting anually including apple,microsoft ,google,uber,zomato,cisco,infosys. for 2024-25 placement season the highest package was 27 lpa and average of 10 lpa ,the placement percentage is high. i want to work for a leading tech company where i can apply my skills in software development

Think and investigate before you join in any college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we will get eligible for placements but at 7th semester we have to do internships. So, those we will do internship at 8th semester will attend that placements. They will show companies like Facebook,Google , Amazon , ISRO in their websites. But actual companies what we get are Surya tech solutions, AR tech solutions, paltech ,and other Chennai based companies. Especially for Electronics and communication technology they will not provide any better placements when compared to other departments.

The admission process of our college is free of cost.
