Remarks

The management should take care of the college and should try to improve the surrounding in which it is situated. The higher authorities of the university should visit this campus on a regular basis and should always keep a check on the functioning of the system.

Entrance Preview

You have to write a test SRMJEE for admission but all this is just faking you can easily get admission in the college through back door, no need of giving exam. Coming to the next question, as I was from maths stream so according to Indian mentality it is for sure that if you were from maths stream you'll become an engineer, if you're from bio you'll become a doctor and son of a businessman will always opt for commerce.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I chose is B. Tech and the studies in this college are very good. The faculty over here are all south Indians and that is a main drawback if you are a north. As teachers show a slight attention towards students from south.

Internships Opportunities

I'm in second year and till now college has not provided me any internship and neither they give enough holidays so that we can do any internship.

Placement Experience

According to the college the placement is 100% and let me clear it doesn't means that who took admission will get the placement it means that those who sit in the placement interviews they will be fir sure placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees over here is a bit high. My fees is Rs. 1,95,000. But I think this year they have increased it. If you include the hostel fees it will reach around 3- 3.5 lakhs as they have different categories of hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college does not provide any scholarship. You can apply for bank loan and get it verified by the college that's all they help.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I stayed last year in hostel and the experience was something new so I liked it pretty much. The hostel of this college is very good in comparison to other colleges.

Exam Structure

No the exams are very tiring. One ends and after two days another comes. They don't even give enough holidays after end of semester.

All the faculties in this branch hold a bachelors degree none of them are masters. They are very much interactive but most have a bad English.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.
