Remarks

If you are looking for pharmacy institute then there is no doubt about this institute. Though the location is quite rural. If you are serious and want to study with bit of fun then go for it.

Entrance Preview

Entrance exam for PCET was carried out then there was a counselling procedure based on your marks. As it is best private pharmacy college in region So you need to have good score. Also there are management seats. Well there is a great scope of pharmacy in India and abroad so its good to choose pharmacy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Practical work and theoretical classes were equally distributed. So it was quote a good learning. Institute is having its own analytical laboratory certified by govt. named as ISFAL.

Internships Opportunities

There is no provision for internship in pharmavy colleges. It is not the part of course hence not required. No internship plans by college.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement of college is good. Many companies like Cipla Sun cadilla ankur drugs etc visited our campus for manufacturing, quality assurance , research and development and marketing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was not out of budget as we are seeing today's scenario. For B.pharmacy course fee was 32 thousand per sem for 8 sems. And for m.pharmacy course it was around 3 lac for 2 years.

Campus Life

4

Participated in various Seminars, Conferences, Debates and Cultural Programs in school and college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Good rooms with centrally cooled AC. Sharing basis. It was 2500 with food for month. Food was above average.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni events are being organised at Chandigarh and moga

Exam Structure

Culture was god.As pharmcay is very regressive step so sometimes it become hectic.

Faculty

5

Faculty was atleast post graduate.ISF college have maximum no. Of PHD teachers in a pharmacy college in north India. There are even JRF and SRF teachers. HOD s were retired from many prestigious institutions like CSIR, Sagar University etc. Faculty like Dr. A.N Kalia, Dr. S.P Vyas , Dr. K.L. Dhar have there own books and publications. Standard of teaching was really very high as whole faculty was highly qualified. Even we had practical demonstrations during class. There are many interactive sessions between teachers and students. Guest lactures from industry people were also being organised. All the streams of pharmacy are there with highly qualified staff. Overall it was very good experience being at ISF.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The inclusion of laboratory work industrial visit seminar activities also influenced by decision to choose course. However some units feel outdated and could be revised to match the latest industry standards . The schedule is very usually mangable though sometimes exams field tightly pack overall the difficult level is moderate and support proper learning rather than rote memorization.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This aligned with my dream of staying intact with medicine as the main part of curriculum but in an entirely different way . You get to learn about how it's discovered, designed, undergoes different preclinical , clinical trials ,manufactured , and then distributed under the related ethics, laws and regulations . You cannot wholely depend on faculty for your training for next entrance exam but need to put extra efforts to get by yourself and practice harder for GPAT. The faculty teaches as per the PCI guidelines for IKGPTU examination.
