Remarks

College gave lot of opportunity and good teachers, placements are little bit weak in this college, mathematics is really difficult for the students who comes from diploma. Vtu exams are not so easy to clear, because now its grading system and need to study everything.College is far from home,it will very rush in bmtc bus in the morning and evening time, but college Bus available cost is more.

Entrance Preview

Dcet was the exam i wrote,i got average rank in dcet, through which i have landed in this college.just have counselling process before joining classes so interview taken, As i completed my diploma with electronics and communication,i was interested in core knowledge of electronics, and wanted to become a electronics engineering, my interest towards the course made me to choose ECE in engineering college

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Electronics and communication course is a excellent course. Where you learn more and more technologies in our day to day life,it has a huge scope in future, through electronics we can create as many as projects we want,Now ECE syllabus is improved and we have grading system.Yeah we focused on practical learning, teachers gives us practical knowledge in class, and in each sem we have 2 labs,so we learn practically in lab

Internships Opportunities

Still now college did not gave any opportunity to do internships in a good college, may be next year they may provide us a internship, still now I don't have any experience related to internship, doing internship means getting trained before you go for a job

Placement Experience

3.5

I don't know much about placements in college as I joined last year, but my friends told that placement scenario is not to good, only 30% of students are getting placed in some companies. infosys, oracle,IBM companies visited,My seniors told average package was around 5-6 Lakh

College Events

3.5

Yes,many technical, cultural fests and events conducted here, some events were big and some events were small, all events and fests were done completely, no problems occurred in between.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I got seat through engineering ,so how much science students paid after passing puc for kcet, same fees we had paid in dcet that is 45000,with this I paid around 20,000-25000 rupees in college as a tuition fees, labs fees...etc so every year we pay this much fees,it was affordable for me as CET students also needs to pay same amount.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities are active in this college, many of indoor and outdoor games were conducted,Even I get many opportunity to show, facilities were the good.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No I am residing in Bangalore itself, college is little bit far from home,I don't know much about hostel facility ,but no single rooms are available, rooms are only on sharing, Less PG is available near college, food rate is less and food is good.

Exam Structure

Yes exams were make me tired a lot, because of mathematical, when i was in diploma only 20% of mathematics and numericals were available but now 80% of mathematics and numerical is available,so i feel difficult to pass mathematics subjects, labs don't make tired, labs are easy and I had lab experience in diploma only.

Faculty

3.5

Just i had one year of experience in this college as i came from diploma,i felt that teachers were well qualified and experience, their classes were interesting, helped a lot in their subjects, they give us more practical knowledge, they tell us about workshops and many courses which we should learn and do it,they even inform about internship too, this thing i liked a lot,More and more interactive.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
