I opt for this branch [Electronis And Communication Engineering] because of the increase in market size and growth of IOT [Internet Of Things]. The IOT devices will be well used in the future. From this core branch, we can have two opportunities, one which is core/pure electronics and another which is the IT sector. Those who have an interest in coding can opt for the ECE branch for both CORE and IT jobs. DCRUST is having a total of 140 seats in ECE from which two sections are made. The faculty of Department ECE is great with experienced professors. Every Professor got their Ph.D. from different institutes. Also, the teaching method is becoming different with Hi-Tech labs with modern tools and components. The faculty is supportive as they also sponsor students with their ideas and innovation. EXAMS are moderately difficult but yet 77% of students get passed. There are two semesters, each semester having 2 sessionals with internal practicals and external practicals.

The eligibility for campus placements is a 7.5 CGPA to sit in placements. Companies visited last year are Samsung, Veersa, Quinbay, Chipsat, rapacity, and TCS for ECE students. 60% of the students get placed. The average Package offered by these companies is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 12 LPA. Veersa and Samsung hire more students than any other company.

Total fees of BTech ECE in DCRUST are around Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 2,50,000. Various Scholarship Programmes are there which you can fill out according to the eligibility and requirements. There are no internships offered in the college but you can upgrade your skills by joining various societies in the college.

One of the annual fest conducted in DCRUST is Aghaaz which is the best. Also, a library is provided and a reading room with 24 into 7 Air Condition. AC classrooms in the department. Various play areas for different sports such as badminton courts, basketball courts, football grounds, cricket grounds, Gym, swimming pools, etc. Sports are the most common thing among students. Also, there is a group call Entrepreneurship Cell also known as E-Cell which is all run by students.

Hostel rooms are small and not sufficient for two students when it comes to the term of sharing. Sharing is compulsory. because of more students. The hostel room has a bed provided with light, a fan, and electricity. There are two-three floors including the ground floor and every floor has two bathrooms. The hostel fee is 27,000 per year. You have to compromise with messy food. The quality is not good at all. The PGs or rented rooms are available in TDI flats which are at a distance of a few kilometers.

DCRUST offers various courses in UG & PG. One can get admission by applying to HSTES Counselling and the shortlisting process depends upon the JEE MAINS Score. The cutoff for admission in ECE for the General category is 1,80,000 (rank). The chances of getting a seat are high in Physical Counselling. To apply for BTech in DCRUST one should be from the science stream and should complete the minimum 75% criteria in boards. The Application Form of HSTES is OUT which is from 7 June to 13 July. If anyone wants Admission 2023 BTech then should fill HSTES Counselling. The application fees are 1000/- Rs. and 250/-Rs. for SC/ST caste.
