Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have commerce in my 12th. The faculty are very helpful, most of the students are girls, teachers are well educated and very helpful, teachers provide notes and help in semester exams.

Class Size: 106Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not so high in bcom hons but in vocational the scenario is slightly different in case of fees in 3 years I paid less than 1 lakh and I completed my degree. there are various scholarship schemes are also there like Ekalyan for ST SC and OBC students.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good, I made many friends, the students are very helpful and there are many social groups also there like the Rotary club, NSS, and NCC many functions are also conducted where you can take part and upgrade your skills.

Admission

For bcom hons, you have to pass your 12th with science or commerce by scoring a minimum of 60%. Then you are eligible to fill out the form of St. Xavier's College Ranchi then you have to give your entrance exam. if you successfully clear your entrance then you got a chance to take admitted to this college.

Semester 3,4 students become eligible for campus placement but I think last year mostly companies were visit in the college and companies like TCS, bajaj Finserv, icicibank etc. Average package 3-5 lakh, and highest package 10 lakh

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

College life

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
