Entrance Preview

Whne I joined, entrance is based on +2 marks now it is based on IIT JEE and +2 marks.

Internships Opportunities

Some companies are coming for internship with good stipend.

Placement Experience

Sastra is known for its placemnets majority of students are placed with mnc's like TCS IBM Accenture wipro Samsung for core companies the package would be huge and for IT companies its normal package.

College Events

There are sports festivals which is organised at national level many university's will be participating in the festivals cultural festival kuruksastra tech festival like theta etc and there are departments community where students take active participation in debates, tech quiz and many more.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Lifestyle of sastra

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice.
