What Students Say
Likes
- Placement was the best thing I liked about MIET
- Some faculties were also very very good in their domain and very supportive.
- I like the flexibility of the college in covid times.
Dislikes
- There were no extra curriculum activities.
- There was no sessions to groom the student for placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
I did BCA so I opted for MCA. In the first year, the faculties were great. But with the passing of time, almost everyone left the college and new faculties were hired. They were also good. The teaching method was the old teaching method. We all used to study in a classroom with Blackboard. Exams were held twice a year.

Placement Experience
The placements at the college were good. Almost everyone from my class got placed. Some got the very low package (around 3 LPA) and some got a very high package (around 8.5 LPA), but the maximum number of people got around 4 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was very simple. It was 200000 for 2 years, i.e. 100000 per year. I don't know about any scholarship program. Talking about campus jobs, in my class I think everyone got placed and the average placement was around 4 LPA.
Campus Life
There was no such thing as campus life. There were no clubs and no fest happened (maybe because of covid) No sports were conducted and there was nothing except classrooms. There was one canteen only for the whole college.
Admission
I applied directly from the college. No entrance exam. Anyone can find the application form and application fee structure in the Admission cell of the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology. The process is simple, so no improvement is needed.
