Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

From childhood I Liked this course, I was interested in design flown, hence I heard about this course & got to know about it. in every batch about 120 students were there, and those are segregated into 3-4 small class ie. sections, so students will get a better experience. Teachers can focus on all the students. Most faculties were graduates/post-graduate. Exams happened from time to time, you have to clear the minimum passing marks then only you are qualified. It was not that difficult to clear the exams unless you are not prepared. the questions were tricky, but if you read them carefully, you can easily write the exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were affordable per semester it was 33,000/-. per year it was 66,000/- till 2017. at the time of the admission, your fee structure will be fixed. they cannot increase the fee structure later, which is a very good thing. In architecture, you won't get a campus selection, you have to search on your own.

Campus Life

4.5

Fest was awesome, we used to celebrate one week in college fest, and we used to decorate everything, making lamps, doing graffiti on the wall, we used to decorate the whole department. books were available in the library. the library helped in many ways. drafting boards, fans, chairs, tube lights, sufficient ventilation, and blackboards, with chalk, were there. we used to participate in dance, music etc in cultural events we used to do paintings, for surveying & playing also.

Hostel Facilities

3

I have not been in a hostel. but I went to the hostels several times. rooms were good. they used to send people for cleaning every day. they used to provide proper meals, line dal, rice, chappati, gravy & salad. Warden will let you know about hostel availability, prices were different for different rooms. there were two sharing, three sharing & four sharing room as well.

Admission

I cleared the NATA exam & the cutoff of 85 in 2012. I cleared it. anyone can download the application form, from the link below jagannathuniversity.org Reservation people will get benefits, the fee structure will be less for reserved people. In admission process was depend upon your marks in Nata.

Interview Experience

3

I have cleared the NATA exam, it was a written exam & I qualified for it. Then I have given face to face interviews about my qualifications and general knowledge of the field. If you clear the NATA exam with good marks, you can easily get admission. I was confident & given and what the interviewer asked.
