Likes

Study and exam conducting methods are good
Faculty of agriculture is also good.Faculty are well experienced and most of are government retired professor in agriculture department.

Dislikes

Management of jagannath university is not good .They give priority to themselves but not to students.
Sports activities are not good . There is not coach regards any kind of sports.
Facilities are not provided well as compared to fee structure and hostel facility is very bad and also food quality provided in hostel are also of very cheap quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum activities are obviously good in agriculture department which helps in students future career Recently various training programs are held for students curriculum. Recently in our university held national conference on barley crops in which various achiever participate all around India and various agriculture researcher also came .

Class Size: 132Course Fees: INR 125500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very high as compared to facilities provided by University. There is no availability of scholarship for students agriculture department. I am a meritorious student in 12th class .I got 93.4 percentage in 12th class in agriculture subject but in this university I can't get any kind of scholarship.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very bad. Location is also very long as compared to jaipur . It is 50 km far away from jaipur. Their is no a.c or coolers in all class of campus. Canteen facilities is very bad. There is no varieties in food provided by canteen . And students also faces inflation in various grocery items provided by grocery shop. Recently students observed that items are provided at high prices as compared to their mrp. For exam item of rs 20 is sold at rs 15 So students can't buy grocery items through grocery shop of jagannath university. This incidence 100 percentage real .

Admission

Their is eligibility of various entrance exams . University have their own entrance exam but in agriculture department student get entrance with joint entrance exam Rajasthan and cuet at national level . But majority of students get direct admission in various departments of jagannath university. Admission process is either good not bad

Faculty

Faculty members are fully experienced and their interaction with students also helps to students in different ways. Majority faculty members of agriculture department are retired dean,Hods of different universities of agriculture such as mpuat ,skrau,etc

There are activities conducted by the college weekly based on syllabus and project based studies and practical work also done by the college students and and exam is not tough it is regular simple and as my perspective there are no need in improving the syllabus

Students are eligible for campus placement only from the fourth year there are various company visited in our college some of them they offer minimum package of 1 lakh at the maximum package of 4 lakh only 20% of the student get less the each year I am preparing for MSc for my future studies after this degree

Placement Experience:

In mine college students are eligible after 8th semester for the get an better placement in bsc hons agriculture. Average package is approximate 3 to 4 lakh and highest package is around 7-8 lakh annually. Many company are came for give the placement such as mother's dairy, amul, payas and many fertilizer company etc. I will prepare for an government job after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

The thing is that we will have to prepare us by ourselves only for exams and all coz here the faculty neither teaches properly nor complete the course for semester end exams. The people here in ajmer are very conservative and vulgar.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. Different levels to sit in the placement, Firstly students interested for placement are listed , then they are divided in groups and each group is given with a topic for debate , student which are more effective and efficient speaker are selected from each group . Not any fix cgpa is required but 6.5 and above is average. I am planning to do masters in this branch.

Placement Experience:

From 7-8 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies visited like ibm , Infosys, wipro , tcs. Percentage of students getting placement is 30 % that is very low. My plan is to study for masters in agronomy.
