Course Curriculum Overview

I was willing to do Engineering so I choose the course. In my branch, there were 12 faculty for around 250 + students including all years students, so in me they should increase their faculty size. Most faculty were PHD holders and their way of teaching was good All exams use to be held on a time and you will get the results at the time too from the BPUT board

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are around 75,000 per year for civil and mechanical for cs/it fees may be high . Yes even though I belong to the Civil branch, I got a job in the It sector with a package of 2.4 LPA Which is quite less as per me College should bring good companies which should offer a package of a minimum of 5-6 LPA.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Aurora basically it use to be held in the month of November-December . All types of books are available in the college library, but dont forget to return them at any time else you have to pay a fine for the book . classes having a normal quality bench, fans, windows and labs having Ac. In sports Cricket and Football are generally played there used to have multiple tournaments for sports

Admission

The admission process is very simple Fill OJEE form and select your collage Give an offline exam at the centre decided by the BPUT board If your cutoff is eligible for the collage Then you can directly reach to the collage for addmission process Before your admission there will be a verification process held by BPUT board . Eligibility For 12th pass at least 50 % for diploma in lateral enteries 60% Application form you can directly find on OJEE site easily you can search at google

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.
