KSOM most honest review

I chose this course because I wanted to understand how businesses work. I always wanted to be a successful businessman and I wanted to know everything about businesses from root. The faculties here are quite good although you will find some faculties not to be that very good but still they are quite good. All of them are well qualified. Their teaching method is quite different from one another. They all follow their own method of teaching but most of their style is suitable for us students. The term exams were good. In some subjects, we stumbled but saved ourselves with good marks in other subjects. The mid-term exams are held after 2 months after the start of a semester and the end-term exams are held after 5 months of the start of the semester.

Our college tied up with a few companies like Guerilla BBSR, and IIT Bombay for internship opportunities. They provide training for your required field for which they charge you fees and provide you internships. Although I never found any of them relevant.

College placements for BBA are not very much discussed. Because most of the students here don't want to do a job after BBA. Either they are here just for a degree Or they will do MBA just after BBA. Although there are some companies which come to hire students who are doing well in academics, as well as skill-wise, not a lot of students, apply for those jobs. Students are eligible for the jobs after 2nd-year completion. My plans after getting the degree are to do MBA in a well respected college.

Yes, there are some sort of scholarships available although I don't have a complete idea of that. The fee structure is quite high. They charge 1,40,000 for a semester as course fees and hostel fees are separate. Ac rooms 2 bedded are 60000 and if you want attached bathroom then 10000 extra. Non AC 2 bedded rooms are 40000 and 3 bedded non Ac rooms are 28000. Talking about jobs, I haven't got any job Or internship through college till now.

Life at KIIT is full of adventures. You will never run out of new things here, which is actually tiring. The annual fest is conducted in the month of December to January and it is celebrated in a grand way. Books and journals are available there in the library. KIIT is well known for its infrastructure in sports and extracurricular activities. There are a lot of clubs like NSS, Rotaract, Robotics, Sanskriti, etc.

I am currently living in a 2 Bedded Non-AC room for which each semester I have to pay 40,000 and for mess 22,500. We are provided with a pillow, mattress, bed, Cupboards, chairs, tables, bucket and mug. The meal quality is good. Sometimes you know the hostel food is terrible. But maybe due to mass production, the food tastes weird. Affordability is easy for the hostel here.

There is an entrance exam called KIITEE, but as I had enough of the required marks in 12th which is above 50% so I need not give any entrance exam to get into the college. Also, I registered myself for KIIT BBA 3 months before the KIITEE exam hence the entrance wasn't mandatory for me. After the selection they will send you mail for your selection and within a month will ask you for registration. The admission process was quite simple and they also provide you with help with time to pay your fees and all.
