Course Curriculum Overview
There were 6 semesters in the whole process. The exams were much much on time after a gap of 6 3 months each. After each semester we would have a different set of subjects to study which would make us understanding more difficult. In the first semester of our course it was compulsory for us to opt for any foreign language course. Each semester in our course made us understand different aspect of hospitality industry and why all of these are important in running and functioning of the hotel.
Fees and Financial Aid
After our course was about to finish there were several hospitality companies that came into our campus for job seekers or internship seekers. They themselves very clearly explained the process to each one of us and what benefits and security will one get once he/ she starts working with that specific institution or hotel. The fee is minimal here it os only Rs. 1000per annum for my course.
Campus Life
All together college life was one the best life I have ever lived after my school life. It all together gave all of us a new meaning and we ourselves experienced many many new things which we hardly knew before joining the hospitality industry. In this process, there were a lot of our batch mates who got indulged with children in different fields of their profession and learned new skills from them. It was altogether a friendly kind of environment and we all were a part of it. After a span of 3 months, there were festivals/shows which were there where people showed their talent and their art which we really used to enjoy.
Admission
Since I was very passionate about doing a hotel management course from the time I was in class 12. I started searching for the best colleges for hotel management courses and I came to know about AIHT WHICH is the ASIAN INSTITUTE OF HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM. The eligibility process was very simple like any other college. Though it was a professional college all you had to Summit your higher education certificate and mark sheet before joining the college. After that, we were been told to deposit 10,000 rupees in advance as security fees which would be refundable once you graduate from that specific college or institute. Once we are eligible to do that particular courses we are also given the option to do our training in India or outside India. Once we are done with our 1 year training period in any of the hotels for 6 - 6 months each then we are eligible to graduate from that specific college.
