Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I was fond of computers a lot. The faculties are good. The ratio cannot be justified as a single teacher teaches more the 1 more subject. Most faculties are B.tech, BCA, MCA, M.tech, and Ph.D. holders. The teaching method is good. We have 2 term exams in a year and they were all timely before COVID but now things are different. The difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience
Companies come to college in the 4th year. Companies with an average of 4-6 LPA visit the college. Few are meter companies and the rest are service-based, solution companies. BYJU comes every year with a package of 10 LPA for the position of Sales. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 50%. I've decided to pursue my Masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are typical of an engineering college, i.e 40000-45000 per semester. The college has TFWS where the student has to pay very less fees. It can be enquired at the time of admission. Placement opportunity is very less. Only a few average companies visit the campus. For the CS and IT students, it's fine but for the rest of the stream students, they've very less opportunities.
Campus Life
BASANT is the major fest, QUASAR is the sports fest and few clubs host the tech fests. The college has a good library and the availability of the various books is always there. Classrooms are average. The campus provides a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities, be it indoor or outdoor. It has cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, race track, lawn tennis, badminton, carrom, table tennis, etc. There are a lot of clubs that are run for the students by the students like IEEE, ZENITH, etc. It helps to skill up the student by providing them with various activities.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are good. It has a bed a table, a chair, wall-attached almirahs, and a bookshelf area. The meal quality is average as the hostel can have. The menu changes from time to time. The student needs to reach out to the college or the hostel warden to enquire about it. The fees are a bit high but the ambience is good compared to other college hostels.
Admission
Admission is made on the basis of the 12th result. For the application form, one must reach out to the college physically. No, there's nothing called reservation benefits. The admission process is typical of a tier 3 college. The affiliated university needs to be improved in many ways.
