Course Curriculum Overview

I want to run a business that's why I persuing bcom at Chandigarh University there are a huge amount of students coming from many places in INDIA. Their teaching methods are really appreciative all teachers are very qualified and experienced.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Studying in Chandigarh University is absolutely costly but it is worth it because there are many placements. Students get jobs in many multinational companies very easily. There are many scholarships for sc, bc, and obcs.

Campus Life

The only problem in college is hostels because there are lots of students in hostels. I also live in an off-campus hostel, the hostel process is very easy because you have to pay only fees on claims for the hostel and they give you a hostel in 1-2 days. The price of PG or flat is an average of 6000 per month.

Admission

Students become eligible for placements in their third year. Many big companies visit our college every year to recruit students. Around 80-90% of students get placed every year with great salary packages. The highest salary package offered for CSE students is 40 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum relevant. Provide with practical and theoretical knowledge. But needs some improvement with the teaching method. That is need of some projector in the classrooms. Besides this overall course curriculum and everything else regarding course is relevant and the study material for each subject available too.

My Dream college

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for enrollment into campus placements in the 2nd semester . We have been enrolled into placement classess and we will be graduating in 2023. According to the stats we have around 800+companies for placements and avg pacakge offered is 5LPA. Currently, I am not into placement so talking about the top placements and the ratio of placements will be biased. But we have been provided with top notch facilities to help develop skills and crack interview. Top recruiters - delloit, kpmg, JpMorgan etc. short internships were provided to students in their first year and with ending of 2nd year we will be doing a full force internship.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
