A honest review about Sona College of Arts and Science, Salem, Tamil Nadu.

I choose this course because it is equal to engineering and we can get more knowledge about computers. Faculties are well educated and they have completed their ph.d in their respective subjects. the student ratio is increased up to 70 percent and above compared to starting year of college. The faculties use the method of student-centric approach. The Term exams (semester exams) were conducted every 6 months, and the internal exams were conducted within 1 month of the course starting.

VEE Technologies (Prospect wiki intern), Devjee internship. the projects we have done to get placed in the company, we have developed an app for booking rooms in hotels and we have got an appreciation certificate.

From the 5th semester itself, the students are eligible for attending the campus. The companies like TCS, LTIMindtree, WIPRO, Congruent, and some of the banks like CUB, ICICI, and Yes Bank, the no of offers given by the companies may be more than 200. The highest package given can be 5 lakhs per annum and the minimum will be 1.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed can be 80 percent per year. My plan after the degree will be to go to work offered by the company.

I didn't get any scholarships but my colleagues got scholarships for getting good marks in 12th grade and got scholarships for being the best students in the academic years. The job offer I got from LTIMindtree which was an Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company which was located in Bangalore.

The annual fest conducted by them will be the Sonaturals and the Annual Day in the month of May by the campus itself. The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals, and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences, and management. Bright and airy classrooms are present on the campus. The sports at Sona are supported by world-class facilities. It includes Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Tennis, and volleyball, besides that it has commodious fields for Football, Hockey, and Cricket. Blood donor Club, Sona Radio, Programming Club, Sona readers club, Tamil Mandram, Modern theatre club, Dexters Club, IQ Club, Science Club, English Club, sports club, music club, and yoga club are the clubs run by the students.

The eligibility for the course will be the student should their 12th grade. We can find the Application form on the college campus itself, application fee will be rs.500 application can be accepted after completing the school grade after the month of April. The improvements made by the campus are more than enough to put admission.
