Course Curriculum Overview
The course here is completely awesome. For every department, the specific industry will design the course. This will be very useful while we are attending for placement. For IT department, the course is designed by "Virtusa company" and for the CSBS department, the course is designed by "TCS". Coming to the faculty, they all are very well educated. Mostly 90% of teachers in this college completed their Ph.D.
Internships Opportunities
After every semester, they will ask the student to complete the Industry Internship. Most of the internships are arranged by the college. The student wanted to work and submit their internship. As part of the curriculum, they will assign projects to the students for every semester. So they will be trained for their final year project.
Placement Experience
RMK Engineering College is very famous for its placement. Mostly 98% of the student will get placed. The average salary will be 4.5 lakhs per annum and the highest salary will be 56 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters are Virtusa, TCS, and Infosys, offering nearly 50% of the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is somewhat high when compared to other colleges. For college courses, they are collecting around 1 Lakh per year, and for hostel 1 lakh per year. In this college, First graduate and SC, ST scholarships are applied which are provided by the government. College is specifically famous for placement. Mostly 98% of the student will get placement. For a department, nearly 40 companies will come.
Campus Life
In this college, they won't conduct any event. There will be no social activities in this college. Only they will focus on studies and placement. Also, they won't encourage sports. For a month, maximum they will allow 2 hrs for sports. There will be some of the club activities conducted by the faculties like essay writing, quiz, coding, and singing. The college library is very good and contains more than 10000 varieties of books.
Admission
There is no entrance exam for joining R.M.K engineering college. The admission is completely based on the 12th mark. While I'm joining, they gave admission just because of my cut-off. There is no specific cut-off mark, every year it will change according to the current student mark status. The application process is very simple. 1st we need to apply to TNEA, then if we are qualified for the college, then will contact us.
